This necklace is  new old stock (NOS)  and is exceptionally clean. The flat herringbone construction has a bright, highly reflective finish and lies smoothly, with none of the obvious kinking, crushing or permanent bends commonly encountered on previously worn herringbone chains. At  24 inches long , it has a longer, relaxed drape while the approximately  1/8-inch width  keeps the look sleek rather than heavy. The articulated herringbone construction catches light beautifully and gives the necklace an almost ribbon-like appearance as it moves. The chain end is marked  925 ITALY , and the lobster clasp is also marked  925 . The sterling silver has additionally been independently acid tested.
