It has long hair on the tail and head, shorter hair on the body, and felt ears. This cat does prefer to sit, but you can lean it to stand, and it is in a sort of "scaredy cat" pose. Over the years, the longer hair of the head and tail has faded to a reddish brown, though that isn't an uncommon color seen on real cats either so I never minded. A vintage Midcentury 1960s or early 70s black cat plush with a beaded collar similar to a Boo Boo Kitty from Lavern and Shirley. It measures around 13-14 inches from paw to ear, though if you flip the tail upright, you can get a few more out of it.
