Normally, I would make them look amazing for the photos but I am currently out of venetian shoe cream, which is the secret to making shell. These shoes are from the late 90s. These shoes are from the late 90s. They are a men's size 10.5 C. They have had a half sole job done on them at some point. You can see where the leather was shaved down.And then a half soul was glued in. I did not have this done.It was done to these shoes before.I purchased them. I broke my ankle where I only wear boots now, or else I would never get rid of these. The proper thing to do would be to completely go over the shoes with renomat to remove any Shell cordovan cream, then to rub them down with venetian shoe cream and brush them vigorously until they have a brilliant shine. After the photos where I took pictures of the outsoles. I\n Took pictures of every little scratch, but\n Most of the time, any sort of scratch can be fixed with Venetian shoe cream. The French binding that goes around the opening of the shoe has little cracks in it that's from age. I would not worry about it, I would just wear these shoes for several years to come, and when they are worn out.  Just retire them. Because they have A couple little issues like that. I'm not trying to get an outrageous price. In other words, I would not try to have a restoration project. I would just wear them until they are worn out.
