Manufactured in Japan during the post-WWII era (circa 1950s), this matching trio features a lovely variety of sizes, architecture, and colors.Each house is crafted from painted cardboard heavily accented with vintage shimmering mica/glitter snow and flanked by classic teal-green bottle brush trees. The set includes a large white cottage with red cellophane windows, a medium green house with red windows, and a small red cottage featuring vibrant green cellophane windows.All three pieces include the traditional pre-cut circular light holes in the back. When nested with standard vintage miniature light strands, the interior cellophane panels glow with a warm, nostalgic brilliance.Condition:Excellent vintage condition across the entire lot. All three cardboard structures remain rigid with crisp lines and no structural crushing. The colorful cellophane window inserts are completely intact on all three houses, which is quite rare for pieces of this age.
