This is a wonderfully unapologetic solitaire statement ring built around one very large, very bright round brilliant cubic zirconia. The centerpiece is a  9mm round brilliant-cut CZ , secured in a classic six-prong elevated setting. The substantial silver-tone band broadens toward the stone, giving the ring considerably more presence than the typical delicate solitaire setting. And the stone is the entire reason this one made the cut. It was tested as cubic zirconia and has exceptional brilliance in person. Under changing light it throws strong white sparkle along with flashes of spectral color that are difficult to capture completely in still photography. This is one of those pieces that announces itself from considerably farther away than its price would suggest.
