View Vintage Faux Amber Beaded 23" Necklace Hidden Clasp Gold Tone Spacers with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Vintage root beer color faux amber plastic beaded necklace with gold tone spacers. Good condition, however I performed the hot needle test (to test for real amber) on one bead next to the clasp and it left a hole.  Some of the resin was raised up around the hole and I filed it down which caused some scratches around the hole (see the last 2 pics).  There was no smell with the needle test, so I do not think that it is real amber.  There is also some plating wear on the gold tone spacer beads.  Please see all of the pictures for the best indication of the colors and condition.  Size 23" X .36" Condition: Pre-owned - Good.
