The substantial loop handle and pronounced pouring spout give it a rustic folk-art or studio-pottery appearance. There is age-related glaze crazing near the interior of the spout, but it does not appear to extend through the pottery. Large vintage stoneware pitcher featuring a rich chocolate-brown glaze, cream-colored interior, raised textured design, and incised zigzag geometric bands. The substantial loop handle and pronounced pouring spout give it a rustic folk-art or studio-pottery appearance. Measures approximately 8 inches tall and 7½ inches from handle to spout. The underside is unglazed with kiln residue and what may be a faint maker’s mark, but the maker could not be confidently identified. No chips or cracks noted, including around the handle and spout. There is age-related glaze crazing near the interior of the spout, but it does not appear to extend through the pottery. Please review all photographs for exact condition.
