You are viewing a nice large Native American concho style sterling silver bolo tie with red coral center. This piece measures 4" in diameter and it weighs approximately 115 grams. The cord and the large tips measure approximately 45" long. The back is signed "AV Sterling." I believe it may have been made by the Navajo artist Alvin Vandever but I will leave it up to the buyer to positively identify the maker. I can detect some craze lines in the coral when I examine it through a magnifying glass, which does not affect the appearance of this beautiful bolo tie and I believe it is naturally a part of the coral.
