Big, bold and beautifully over-the-top vintage sunburst brooch measuring approximately 2.5" across. The dimensional design has layers of pointed rays with ornate openwork detailing, finished in an antiqued gold tone. The center is packed with faceted rhinestones in rich amber, topaz and brown tones, surrounded by smaller aurora borealis rhinestones that flash pink, blue, green and gold depending on the light. The longer outer rays are also accented with individual amber rhinestones, giving the whole piece a fiery sunburst/starburst appearance. It has wonderful depth rather than sitting flat, so it really makes a statement on a jacket, coat, scarf or vintage handbag. Measures approximately 2.5" across. Traditional pin stem with rollover-style clasp on the reverse. Condition: Nice vintage condition with age-related wear and patina to the gold-tone finish.
