I refer to it as a handkerchief only to describe its form, I do not know if it has a proper title. It appears to be handmade of a single, thin slab, artistically folded and rolled forming two pockets and a hollow that present unique possibilities for creative flower arrangements. The semi-black glaze is the perfect backdrop for all colors to stand out and be noticed. &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; It has its original TOYO foil label as well as an “asterisk-like” mark stamped on its side. I do not know the nature of this mark. Being a handmade piece, perhaps someone with more knowledge than I can assign it to a known artist or potter. Searching the internet, I found another vase like it (but with variations), that had the same asterisk mark. It had a label with Japanese printing and was identified as being from the Seiryu kiln. &nbsp; The condition is EXCELLENT with no damage or flaws to relate.
