It is in Excellent Used Condition (EUC). Up for sale is a beautiful piece of mid-century artisan jewelry: a vintage 1960s to 1970s handmade enamel on brass floral medallion pendant necklace. This striking Bohemian style piece features an ornate, organic champleve style multi-colored wildflower pattern displaying beautiful fired glass glaze cells over a heavy brass base. It is in Excellent Used Condition (EUC). Design Details: The circular pendant features a stylized bouquet of retro daisies and abstract botanical elements in deep orange, bright amber, scarlet red, sky blue, and vibrant green over a crisp white enamel background. The reverse side is finished with a classic speckled white counter-enameling technique to protect the brass structure during the kiln firing process. Completely complete with its rare, original artisan crafted brass wire wrapped long link chain. Every single elongated paperclip link is hand turned and secured. Measurements and Condition: Size: The round pendant measures exactly 1 and 1/2 inches in diameter. The original chain measures approximately 24 to 26 inches in total open wearable length. Condition: Excellent Used Condition (EUC). The front fired enamel face is immaculate with a high gloss sheen and completely free of chips or cracks. The counter-enameled back is structurally solid with typical minor kiln-fired brass oxidation and scaling flecks. The original handmade brass chain is strong and straight with a beautiful dark unpolished natural age patina.
