Typically, Juliana jewelry is not marked and it is so with this exceptional piece. I believe this complex, multi layered pin to be one done under designer contract because it has so many of D & E characteristics, but the design is “a step above” even Juliana! Spectacular asymmetrical Delizza Elster constructed pin; a variety of stone shapes prong set in a gold tone plated metal; with open and closed backs and slightly domed.   Some are purple, others pink/lavender with aurora borealis finish, and three are huge watermelon pink/green (heliotrope) stones for which D & E is well documented in using. It measures 2 ½” x 2 1/16”; finish shows no wear; all the stones are secure and there is virtually no wear showing in even the AB finish; it is in excellent vintage condition. From the collection of a long-time vintage costume jewelry enthusiast… it will please the collector or bride alike.
