View VINTAGE WWI SON IN SERVICE PIN GREAT BRITAIN US & FRANCE with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Just by the design I know this is WWI. Just by the design I know this is WWI. In unused condition the enamel work on the flags is a little sloppy 14/16".  I got a bunch of these In the Service pins at an estate, so many duplicates and just so many at one time someone associated with the household had to be involved in their distribution or manufacture or something. A whole bunch of them actually have a 1917 patent date on them and could well be WWI rather than WWII I am playing safe with some by listing them as WWII in fact I didnt realize the star pins were started earlier I always thought it was a WWII thing.
