These are colorful but not bright or bold. On the back of each plate is a sticker noting manufacturer and "Made in China". These pieces most likely date to the 1970's. We are not experts, but we try to provide as much information as possible, including pictures from several angles. Vintage H.F.P. Macau China Set of 2 Large Decorative Hand Painted Decorative Plates. This is a set of 2 identical Asian themed decorative plates. They are hand painted blocked florals, 4 male figures and a deep red border of floral and geometric shapes as well as 4 swag type enhancements. These are colorful but not bright or bold. In the center of each is a sailing ship. On the back of each plate is a sticker noting manufacturer and "Made in China". Also stamped on the back are stamps that they were made for David Thomas Lamps & Accessories. These pieces most likely date to the 1970's. Diameter of each is approximately 12 1/2" x 1 3/8" tall. Very good condition.  No chips, cracks or crazing. We are not experts, but we try to provide as much information as possible, including pictures from several angles.
