The sides of the handle of the screwdriver are some sort of a wood, they are 2 sections that fasten through the handle, they do have some play from aged/damage. The slot of the head appears thicker than normal, it is around 1/16". This is in very very solid shape, feeling like it could supply some good torque as long as the slot fits what you need it for. This is in no condition at all for a collector, and, I have no idea if it can be restored, however if you are looking for a good solid screwdriver that if you do not damage the head would more than likely last a very very long time.  this was removed from a "cabin" that had not seen the light of day for 7+ years, and, before that was visited maybe once every few years before this item was removed.
