"To the winner of the socialist competition, in honor of the 60th anniversary of the great October."   This pennant was intended for the winner of the competition, for the best in the team, the one who always fulfilled and exceeded the work norm. The banner/pennant in Soviet times behind the Iron Curtain was used as an incentive, as one of the elements of communist propaganda and stimulating the population to more selfless work.   *  Such pennants were awarded to teams and individuals in order to emphasize and strengthen the influence of the communist party, but this did not save the Soviet Union from collapse.   *  This pennant is not agitation or propaganda of communist ideas.
