View Vintage, Royal Nippon, Footed Porcelain Ferner w/Ornate Handles, " " with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. The handles are mystifying. It is clearly marked on the base Royal Nishiki Nippon (see photos). 3 1/2" tall, 6 1/2" across the rim and 5" across the base. Vintage, Royal Nippon, Footed Porcelain Ferner with Ornate Handles. Along the sides of the Ferner is raised scroll work with beads, hand painted flowers and lavish application of gold (see photos). The handles are mystifying. Are they supposed to represent stags or, perhaps, a human figure? It is clearly marked on the base Royal Nishiki Nippon (see photos). Other than some normal and expected underglaze fine spider crazing and some surface use wear of the applied gold, I can find no chips, breaks, major cracks or repairs of any kind (see photos). The Nippon Ferner measures approx. 3 1/2" tall, 6 1/2" across the rim and 5" across the base. Please remember, we offer " Condition: Used.
