Material : Hard Plastic. Functionality : It has 11 light up modes (described below and in the pictures/video) that you can switch between using a button on the side. Each mode correlates to a symbol, based on the 9 lands within Disneyland, a base White mode, and a final Rainbow mode. Use the first button on the side toggle between modes. Use the second button to play an associated audio clip. Each clip lasts 15-30 seconds and can be stopped by pressing the second button at any point. Disneyland then offers an interactive experience to unlock the remaining color modes. In each of its 9 lands, there is a keyhole station you insert the key into, that transfers a symbol to the key. After unlocking all 9 symbols, you can return to the park entrance for the final, 10th keyhole station, which unlocks the Rainbow color mode and the commemorative pin hidden within an enclosure on the back of every key ( not included in this purchase ). Alternatively, there is a pinhole on the bottom of the key that you can insert a paperclip-type object into, to push a button to force the final unlock. The keys in this listing were force activated via this pinhole and have not been played with or carried around Disneyland for hours at a time.
