Most of the images are taken outside in the Florida sun so that you can see all the details and condition of the shells & necklace.  To me, this necklace is in groovy vintage condition, which means wear consistent with age.  This is not a new necklace. From my experience as a kid growing up in the 70s with my own Puka necklace, Mom and Sis had one too, they were worn all the time - like ALL the time!!!  Back then we called the shells simply Puka Beads. Since the necklace is made up of vintage Puka shells, expect there to be imperfections , chips, or a missing shell or pointy parts of the shells that are more natural and may have not been smoothed down/polished, etc. which, to me, give them character.  Please carefully look over my images as you will be getting the exact necklace in this listing. Shells are unique, so each necklace may have a different look or feel to it. I did not clean or polish the necklace. I know some folks like some patina or receiving items in their vintage condition, so I leave polishing and cleaning up to the discretion of the buyer. I also did not want to ruin them with harsh cleaners.  I wash mine in soapy dish liquid and pat them dry. For a smooth transaction, please read the entire description prior to making a purchase.
