Item Description This charming vintage footed trinket jewelry box features an ornate European style, beautifully crafted in Japan during the mid-20th century. The lid showcases a highly detailed relief/repoussé scene depicting a traditional European court or courting couple setting, framed by elegant scrollwork. The sides of the casket are accented with a repeating floral and scroll design, resting on four decorative flared feet. The interior opens to reveal its original, vibrant red velvet lining, perfect for protecting rings, pins, or small keepsakes. The underside is clearly stamped with "JAPAN" on a textured, hammered-style base.
