Up for your consideration is a gorgeous, multi-functional vintage artisan statement piece featuring a beautifully hand-carved green jadeite jade drop suspended from an ornate, crescent-shaped sterling silver pearl brooch frame.  It can be styled as a statement brooch or hung from a substantial chain or cord to be worn as a drop pendant necklace. The exact age of this piece is unknown.   It is embellished with natural freshwater pearls and adorned with beautifully carved apple green semi translucent natural carved green Jadeite Jade. The Jade stone is tightly attached by jeweler's wire. The trace of old epoxy also is present. It's not hallmarked in any way but tested to be solid 925 sterling silver. The brooch measures 3 1/8" tall x 7/8"at the widest and weighs 20.8 grams. Very good condition for it's age. No damage to the stones. Secure rollover clasp.
