View Vintage Jumbo West Germany Blown Glass Christmas Ornament*MCM*Mica*Starburst* with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Jumbo in size (about 4.5” x 4”), handblown and hand-decorated with Silver Mica and various jewel-toned starburst accents. The cap is original and still fastened but there is a chip underneath it (shown in last pic) that makes the cap sit slightly askew. Snowflakes and a big, mica & bejeweled Starburst against a mirrored turquoise blue base is the design and attraction of this Antique Christmas Ornament from West Germany. Jumbo in size (about 4.5” x 4”), handblown and hand-decorated with Silver Mica and various jewel-toned starburst accents. Mid-century Modern with that “Atomic” flair…50’s-60’s circa (according to AI). Mercury Glass (also according to AI, so keep that in mind as I don’t want to misrepresent anything). It’s really dynamic and eye-catching but it definitely has wear…please look at the pics. Some paint loss. The cap is original and still fastened but there is a chip underneath it (shown in last pic) that makes the cap sit slightly askew. There are some scratches and a ”crackle” look to the turquoise that might have been intentional but, I suspect, is from age.
