The artist used 12K gold filled sterling silver as the base to highlight the amazing gemstones. The watch tip base is darkened (oxidized) to also show off the silver and gold work, which includes appliqued leaves, curled flat wire, compact silver arches, and silver dots. The turquoise stones have a polished finish but have a nugget style that creates a 3D effect. The branch coral cabochons are top shelf. The watch tips are 1  1/4" wide and about 1  1/2" long. Including the stones, the tips are about 5/16" deep. Each of the cabochons are different sizes and shapes. For comparison, the coral cabochons are 1/8" x 1/2". The connector tube to a new timepiece is 1" long. The opening to the watchband is 9/16" wide. The Spiedel watchband is stainless steel and is 9/16" wide. Unexpanded, it is 3" long.
