It is a lovely length, at 54 inches in total, it gives you the ability to layer it if you wanted to. The necklace hangs down about 27 inches when wearing it. The necklace is actually fairly heavy. Each of the pearls are natural and are asymmetric in shape. Please see the attached pictures so you can see how the pearls very in shape. They are basically an oval shape.
