There is also a small piece of leather that has been scraped off the toe on the left boot. These Red Wing Pecos steel‑toe work boots (Men’s size 7, fits Women’s 8–8.5) were my personal pair during my years working as a CMMS Specialist, traveling to oil rigs and shipyards in 2010-2012. They’ve traveled internationally - including assignments in Singapore, Brazil, Brunei, the Netherlands, China, and multiple U.S. locations. They’re broken‑in with authentic wear, so if you're looking for a pair with character, these are perfect for you. The leather shows creasing, scuffs, and some dryness on the shaft (see photos), and the tread has noticeable wear in the center. There is also a small piece of leather that has been scraped off the toe on the left boot. Despite that, the boots remain sturdy, protective, and ready for their next chapter. These boots even kept my feet dry during Hurricane Harvey in Houston (just a few inches of water) with no damage. These boots have been quite durable over the years, and I have personally experienced why these boots are trusted in industrial environments.
