This bracelet is marked 925 and acid tested for silver. #3431   Vintage Sterling Silver 925 Dainty Flower Floral Link Bracelet  To me, this dainty sterling bracelet is in great preowned/vintage condition, meaning lovingly worn, well taken care of and wear consistent with age and use. No notable flaws.  Light surface wear as commonly seen in almost all preowned sterling jewelry.  Disclaimer: I say this on all preowned & vintage jewelry as it is not new.  This bracelet is marked 925 and acid tested for silver. There is a copyright mark and what looks like a maker's mark, but It is stamped so tiny I can not identify it. If I were to keep this dainty bracelet, I would polish it; however, I do not clean or polish jewelry because many folks prefer to purchase vintage/preowned jewelry as found or with some patina. I do not want to ruin any pieces using any harsh chemicals, so I leave all cleaning & polishing up to the discretion of the buyer . I have no idea if jewelry was repaired or altered from its original condition unless it is obvious to me, and if so, I will mention it. Please note: On occasion, some items marked and tested gold & silver may have a light magnetic draw around areas where other metal may be used to make the jewelry such as a clasp, underlying base metal chains/ wire metals, soldered areas, etc. this is common. Sterling silver and Rhodium are not magnetic; however, other magnetic metals may be and are often used as a base in the manufacturing process of Rhodium or gold plating (vermeil) to adhere the topcoat to sterling.  I am finding this much more common in newer, mass-produced sterling jewelry with gold vermeil & Rhodium plating or beaded sterling jewelry with metal wires. I bring this up because although there is a lot of fake silver & gold out there, some folks think if a piece of jewelry marked sterling or 925 is magnetic then it must be fake, which is not necessarily true. Manufacturers mark sterling jewelry with gold vermeil or rhodium plating with a simple 925 or sterling. They are not obligated to add additional plating information, so they do not.
