What a wonderful group to find together — three distinctly different antique lockets ranging from the tiny highly decorated example to the gorgeous Victorian locket. WITH CHATGPT HELP: A GORGEOUS collection of three antique lockets , including two gold-filled examples and one locket marked STERLING . The star of the group is the beautiful larger Victorian gold-filled heart locket . This one is exceptional. The front has a wonderfully crisp engraved design with a large central heart surrounded by flowers, delicate linear decoration and a beautifully faceted border. The heart itself was left completely free of initials or monogramming — a particularly nice find in an antique sentimental locket. The warm gold-filled surface is beautiful and the engraved details remain remarkably sharp. It opens to reveal two oval photograph compartments and is accompanied by the delicate antique chain shown in the photographs. Even the connector between the chain and locket has a lovely decorative design. The second gold-filled locket is wonderfully petite and extremely ornate. Despite its tiny size, both sides are covered with elaborate period decoration. One side features flowers surrounded by scrolling ornament and a finely textured background, while the opposite side has another intricate floral and foliate design. It opens to two tiny photograph compartments and retains its old interior patina. This locket is unmarked . The third locket is marked STERLING and has a striking raised and engraved floral design with beautiful flowing lines across the entire front. The decorative bail is also unusually pretty and complements the locket perfectly. The reverse has been left plain and unmonogrammed. The two gold-tone lockets are being described as gold filled based upon their appearance and construction; they are not marked for gold content. The silver-tone floral locket is marked STERLING . CONDITION: Very nice antique condition overall, particularly the large heart locket, whose engraved front presents beautifully. All three show expected signs of age and use including varying degrees of lwear, patina, and wear (BUT NOT BAD)  to the finishes. The interiors naturally show more age and patina than the exteriors. The engraved and decorative details remain wonderfully visible and attractive. All three open as shown and shut perfectly!!! Please examine the photographs carefully for the individual condition of each piece. They have been left with their antique character rather than aggressively polished or restored.
