View Vintage Sterling Silver Thunderbird Ring Turquoise Inlay Southwest Size 6 1970s with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. One section of mother-of-pearl inlay is missing from the lower right portion of the bird, and there are several small divots/areas of loss in other inlay sections. These flaws are clearly visible in the photographs and are consistent with age and wear. Vintage 1970s Southwestern Thunderbird Zuni-Style Inlay Ring – Turquoise, Mother of Pearl & Stone – Size 6 Striking vintage handmade Southwestern ring featuring a bold  Thunderbird-style bird motif  with outstretched wings and geometric stone inlay. The design incorporates  turquoise, mother of pearl, black inlay and orange/red stone accents  in a classic Southwestern mosaic style associated with mid-century Native American-inspired jewelry. The ring is  unmarked . The metal is non-magnetic and had substantial dark oxidation/tarnish prior to a brief cleaning, characteristics consistent with silver. Because there is no sterling hallmark and the metal has not been professionally tested, it is being described as  believed to be sterling silver  rather than guaranteed as such. The piece dates approximately to the  1970s  and comes from a private vintage jewelry collection. Condition Good vintage condition overall.
