Up for sale is a beautiful, vintage mid-century Japanese Satsuma-style porcelain vase. This piece features a traditional female figure (Geisha) hand-painted with intricate details against a rich, dark chocolate brown background. It is beautifully accented with two double-loop handles, vibrant raised enamel geometric patterns, and fine gilded/gold-trimmed moriage slip-trailing work throughout. Markings: Stamped with a classic red "MADE IN JAPAN" mark on the bottom unglazed foot rim, dating it to the post-WWII export era (circa 1940s–1950s). Condition: Overall good vintage condition with excellent color preservation. The raised moriage details and handles are completely secure and intact.
