Made of transparent glass, decorated with gold. The fine gold screen printing features gold trims and small gold stars. At the center of the plate displays an etched gold sunburst star, typical of the Mid-Century style. This set of 8 dessert plates, 7 7/8" diameter, from the 1950s, is a lovely example of the era's refinement, combining the modernity of pressed glass with an opulent "Royal" design. The set evokes the elegance of post-war receptions. Made of transparent glass, decorated with gold. The fine gold screen printing features gold trims and small gold stars. At the center of the plate displays an etched gold sunburst star, typical of the Mid-Century style.  The condition is fair, but varies, with some pieces in good condition. There are no cracks in the glass, but the gold in the gold trims and stars is scratched off in numerous places on many of the dishes, and would need newly applied gold to completely restore the set.
