View 3 Vintage Hazel Atlas Platonite Ovide 6 oz Teacups Aqua/Orange/Yellow 1940's with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. The colors have been fired to the opaque white glass which was done in the 1940's to early 1950's. Offering for your consideration are these 3 Vintage Hazel Atlas Platonite Ovide Teacups in three of the very popular colors: Aqua, Burnt Orange and Butterscotch Yellow. Each cup measures slightly more than 2 inches high with a 3.5 inch top diameter and will hold 6 ounces of liquid. The colors have been fired to the opaque white glass which was done in the 1940's to early 1950's. These 3 cups are the earlier version because the opalescence can only be seen under a strong light while the pieces produced in the late 40's and early 50's were fully opaque. The aqua and rust cup are in excellent vintage condition but the yellow one shows some utensil marks in the bottom of the cup and there is a chip out of the yellow finish on the exterior. These will be great if you need replacement cups for your dinnerware set; are working on a collection or just want to add a few pops of color and nostalgia from the past to your decor. I am happy to combine shipping when practical.  I have described this offer to the best of my ability but please pay close attention to my photos as they are a more definitive description than I could possibly provide. Keep in mind that these items are VINTAGE so never perfect and may have manufacturing flaws as well as age spots that I may have missed in my inspection.
