It has an incredible horseshoe yoke back, and a unique feature having spindles with wonderful gold painted details on both sides of the center back splat and sides curved up under the arms. Stunning vintage Chinoiserie style horseshoe Yoke back black chair with Ming style legs and champaign colored Damask fabric with floral pattern on the seat cushion. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, there is a ring-shaped stain in the seat fabric even after shampooing but we’ve found no outstanding flaws in the frame. We attempt to portray any imperfections. It has fabulous, curved Ming style legs and the seat cushion is covered in a stunning Damask fabric with a champaign base color and beautiful golden cherry blossom floral details.
