View Vintage Chinese Jade Lid Glass Box with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. The top of the box is jade and the other sides are glass. The back left of the box has a small chip to the glass (see picture of). The jade is a celadon color. My photos look a little bit yellow to my eye. The edges of the box are a metal, what I would call ormolu, and have patinaed over time. The jade is a celadon color. My photos look a little bit yellow to my eye. Measurements: 7" long by 3-1/4" wide by 1-1/2" tall Markings: none Weight: 12 oz Condition: Good vintage condition This piece and other Chinese items come from the estate of a Chinese-American who was the owner of Lin Far , the first Chinese restaurant in Rochester, New York. Some items are from his personal estate while others are Chinese imports from the 1930/40s that he imported to sell in his restaurant.
