The fancy filigree scrolls are on the front side only and necklace can be worn either way. This necklace is hard for me to describe. A rainbow of colors show up on the large shell. The craftsmanship is unique and fabulous. Strands of colorful glass seed beads lead to silver bell shaped caps and 4 (on each side) larger, silver, round beads that end in hook and eye closure. Two like silver beads are attached to a decorative gold piece that is mounted to the shell. It needs some cleaning but I am afraid to do it for fear of damaging the shell. The fancy filigree scrolls are on the front side only and necklace can be worn either way. I believe this is a one of a kind piece- or at least a HTF one!
