View Vintage 60s 70s Original Modernism Oil Painting Portrait Man Reading Signed with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. His clothing fits the style of the 50s but I don’t think the portrait is any older than the 70s judging by the canvas. One can also note he is seated in front of an abstract painting hung on the wall behind him. Intriguing vintage c1970s original portrait oil painting depicting a man seated slightly at profile; He is reading a book or newspaper and is wearing a white color shirt and blue work jacket. His clothing fits the style of the 50s but I don’t think the portrait is any older than the 70s judging by the canvas. One can also note he is seated in front of an abstract painting hung on the wall behind him. An impressive portrait with pleasing brushstrokes and nice use of color. Medium is oil on canvas. Signed by the artist in the bottom left corner. Framed in a handsome contemporary silver tone wood and gesso frame, backed with black paper and ready to hang. Frame retains framers tag out of Georgia on the verso. In Excellent condition with some gentle soiling spots on the edge but still displays quite handsomely. No holes, rips or tears. Frame is clean with the tiniest ding to the bottom left corner. Measures 24” x 20” and 27” x 23 3/4” with the frame. Condition: Used. Category: Art › Paintings.
