View Set of 12 Japanese Imari 4.5" dishes with Aoki Kyodai-Shokai mark. PRICE REDUCED with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. They bear the Aoki Kyodai-Shokai mark and were made in Japan in the early 20th century. The beautifully painted designs and gold accents add a touch of elegance to any table setting. However one bowl has what initially looked like a chip but, as the close up photo shows, it is a defect during the glazing and firing of the piece. This is a set of twelve beautiful vintage Japanese low bowls which are an example of fine Imari  craftsmanship. They bear the Aoki Kyodai-Shokai mark and were made in Japan in the early 20th century. The 4.5-inch size makes them a perfect small size for serving a variety of dishes. The beautifully painted designs and gold accents add a touch of elegance to any table setting. With a provenance history available, these bowls offer a unique glimpse into the art and craftsmanship of Japan. They were never used and have been packed since being brought from Japan by my parents in the 1950's. There is no wear and there are no cracks, chips or other damage. However one bowl has what initially looked like a chip but, as the close up photo shows, it is a defect during the glazing and firing of the piece.
