The Lenox Winter Greetings pattern, Set of 2 Dipping Bowls is a retired pattern designed by artist Catherine McClung. These exquisite bowls are 4" square with rounded corners. They are 1 1/2" high and 1 1/4" deep inside. The Lenox Winter Greetings pattern, Set of 2 Dipping Bowls is a retired pattern designed by artist Catherine McClung. This set is in brand new, pristine condition and has never been used. The set does not come in its original box. These exquisite bowls are 4" square with rounded corners. They are 1 1/2" high and 1 1/4" deep inside. The bowls are made of fine china in the Lenox's traditional ivory color. The outer 4 sides of the bowls feature a garland of green & turquoise holly leaves with red berries, mistletoe with white berries and sprigs of white pine. A deep red ribbon intertwines through the greens. Inside the center of one bowl is a Chickadee perched on pine, holly & mistletoe. The other bowl features a Nuthatch on a pine branch with a pine cone. The top edge of each bowl is hand painted with 22K gold trim. The bowls are dishwasher safe but should not be used in the Microwave because of the gold paint trim. Although dishwasher safe, hand washing will help to preserve the gold trim. The bottoms are printed in gold and include the Lenox name and its Laurel wreath image logo, the pattern and collection name, and artist's signature. These versatile bowls can be used as intended for dipping sauces, dips or salsa and are perfect for nuts or small candies and fruit. They are ideal for the holidays, and the design allows you to use them throughout the Winter season for any occasion. The beautiful artwork allows them to be simply displayed as a decorative piece as well. This set adds a touch of nature and contemporary style to your home and will fit easily into any decor theme.
