Antique Venetian art glass Zanfirico Latticino Ribbon dish. The handmade dish features alternating ribbons in twist and swirl patterns. The ribbon colors are blue, green and brown. The two ribbon/twist patterns are distinct, with one forming sort of a drawn out criss-cross and the other forming more of a helix shaped spiral. Antique Venetian art glass Zanfirico Latticino Ribbon dish. The handmade dish features alternating ribbons in twist and swirl patterns. The ribbon colors are blue, green and brown. The two ribbon/twist patterns are distinct, with one forming sort of a drawn out criss-cross and the other forming more of a helix shaped spiral.  The rim of this dish is ever so slightly scalloped, intermittently. The dish does not have a foot, but a navel. The dish is delicate and thinner than many examples being made and sold in more recent years. We believe it was made in the 1920’s, but please examine all the photographs to decide the age on your own. As with earlier blown glass, small bubbles are common. These are not considered flaws, but we do mention them for accuracy. The dish sounds off a bell tone resonance when it is lightly tapped at the rim with a finger or pencil.
