A beautiful antique French porcelain powder box bearing the classic green T&V / Limoges France backstamp of Tressemann & Vogt, dating to approximately 1892–1907 — the documented window during which T&V operated their Limoges factory before selling it in 1907, after which their marks changed entirely. The domed lid is adorned with a lush, all-over hand-painted design of blue and violet cornflowers with green foliage on a warm amber and cream ground, painted with notable skill and signed in red by the artist (initials “M.M.”).
