The top edge of the dish is hand painted in 22K gold as well. The dish is crafted from high-quality hard paste porcelain made in the Limoges, France region that consists of pure white Kaolin clay, ground Feldspar and Quartz. The back of the dish is stamped in gold with the company's crest and crown logo along with its name and "Limoges, France".  This original mini work of art is a charming addition to any Limoges porcelain or miniature collection, displaying both the quality and craftmanship of Limoges pieces as well as the artwork of a famous French painter.
