This vintage Art Deco belt buckle set features a deep carved design of leaves in black and apple juice colored bakelite. The buckle, when fastened, is 4 inches across and 1.5 inches wide, so each side is 2 inches by 1.5 inches. The leaves are about a quarter inch thick. The hardware is silver toned metal that can accommodate a 3/4 inch wide belt. All parts are in excellent condition - from the bakelite to the clasp. The beautiful two tone design is expertly carved, and quite striking with its alternating color pattern. It's a stunning example of how vintage accessories are wearable art.
