You might want to take a lawn chair and a book and relax by that lake.     This vase, according to its hallmark, was produced between 1920 and 1940. While it may not meet the 100-year requirement for denotation as an antique, it is quite close. The Japanese are renowned for their exceptional ceramic craftsmanship, and it always astounds me how their exquisite work can be offered at such reasonable prices. This vase is very nice. Although not overly sophisticated, it is quite appealing with its serene decoration. You might want to take a lawn chair and a book and relax by that lake.     The vase stands at 7 3/8” tall and has a 3 3/8” diameter foot. There is some wear on the gilt on the handles, but there is no crazing, cracks, chips, flea bites, or scratches.  Most of these photos were taken under artificial light.
