On each side of the cabochon are 11 bezel-set rhinestones that follow the curve of the shell design. Below the cabochon are 3 vertical rows of 4 rhinestones each. There are a total of 34 rhinestones. This stunning vintage double strand faux pearl necklace was hand crafted during the 1950's. The necklace features 1/4" diameter white lustrous faux pearls with a gold tone metal centerpiece. The open-work, centerpiece is shell-shaped or "Goddess" style and has a 1/2" diameter champagne colored faux pearl cabochon in the middle. On each side of the cabochon are 11 bezel-set rhinestones that follow the curve of the shell design. Below the cabochon are 3 vertical rows of 4 rhinestones each. There are a total of 34 rhinestones. The centerpiece measures 1 1/2" long by 1 1/4" wide. The necklace fastens with an oval, gold tone, box & tab clasp that has a raised floral design on the top. (This pretty clasp works great with short hair!!)  The beautiful design makes this necklace a real, eye-catching statement piece for any occasion.
