You have to look closely to see the fabric since it is so subtle. AMERICAN GIRL PC RARE Fabric Samantha’s 1992 Blue Check Play Dress/Pinafore This Rare 1992 AMERICAN GIRL PLEASANT COMPANY Doll Samantha’s Blue Check Play Dress and Pinafore Outfit is in Very Good Pre-owned Condition, the stockings have yellowed some with age. I am not the original owner so I really don’t know much about this outfit. What makes this dress rare is that the white pinafore is made from a dotted Swiss fabric. You have to look closely to see the fabric since it is so subtle. I took several pictures, but you’ll have to zoom them to really see those dots. The Outfit Includes: —The dress in a large blue check with long sleeves and a dropped waist with an attached bib with white collar and cuffs. Velcro back closure. —The white ruffle pinafore with a square yoke and functional pocket, it fits over the dress. —The wide hemmed hair bow is made of the same checkered fabric as the dress. —The white lacy knit knee length stockings have a solid seam up the back, in Good Condition with some age related yellowing. Dress is tagged with 1992 PLEASANT COMPANY.
