The composition incorporates traditional Orthodox iconography, including celestial symbols, inscriptions, architectural motifs, and the skull of Adam at the foot of the Cross. The reverse is beautifully engraved with an intricate floral and vine decoration, reflecting the exceptional craftsmanship characteristic of Russian devotional metalwork of the Imperial period.
