They feature a vertical layered fan in pewter backed by a pearly white acrylic half circle. The rounded edge of the fan has a "V" shape containing 9 clear glass rhinestones. Inside the rhinestones is a triangle containing 6 small faux pearls. These rare vintage earrings are authentic from the Art Deco era and were made circa 1930's - 1940's. They feature a vertical layered fan in pewter backed by a pearly white acrylic half circle. The rounded edge of the fan has a "V" shape containing 9 clear glass rhinestones. Inside the rhinestones is a triangle containing 6 small faux pearls. Along the inner edge between the earring front and attached back clip are 5 faux pearls. They measure 2 1/8" long, 1 1/4" wide and are 1/4" thick.  The earrings can represent either an elegant fan or an ocean theme with a scalloped shell, a pearly half circle and faux pearls. This exquisitely detailed design is a rare find representing a bygone era. The unique earrings have a classic and timeless beauty theme, making them an elegant addition to any jewelry collection. They are beautiful representation of 1930s-1940s fashion. The earrings are in very good condition with some scuffing to the metal clip back. All the rhinestones and faux pearls are present.  Also, the hinged portion of the clip originally had round rubber plug attachments that fit into the holes for added comfort.
