Antique  KENTON OVERLAND CIRCUS CAST IRON  TWO HORSE DRAWN CIRCUS CAGE WAGON & DRIVER The Kenton Hardware Company, based in Ohio, produced this famous cast-iron 'Overland Circus' wagon.  This iconic set features a barred animal transport cage, pulled by two horses and also has a wagon driver. While Kenton first introduced the "Overland Circus" brand on automotive toys in the mid-1920s, and the beloved horse-drawn variations were widely manufactured between  1925-1954  (spanning pre-war and post-war variations).  In good pre-owned condition, noting surface wear to all surfaces along with worn and chipped paint throughout. Also note that the top metal cover of the cage has been bent in several places and has some paint loss. Additionally, one black wheel is missing between one of the horses front legs, the reins are missing and the rear axle on the cage wagon is bent near on of the wheels, all as pictured.  No animals are included; only what is pictured is included in this listing. Approximate measurements: 14.00" long, 4.00" wide and 7.50" high (with driver). Approximate weight:  4 lbs. and 6 oz.
