Her classic outfit includes a poufy pink hat with an embroidered strawberry on top, a red and white dress, green and white striped tights and red shoes. She has red hair, blue eyes, a fair complexion with freckles on her nose and her rosy red cheeks. Her classic outfit includes a poufy pink hat with an embroidered strawberry on top, a red and white dress, green and white striped tights and red shoes. Her hands are curved. The flat hands on a strawberry shortcake doll are the hallmark of the very first production run released by Kenner in 1979, the design was changed shortly after to “curved hands” (produced in 1982 and later) so dolls could hold accessories. Her pet Custard is a pink cat with white polka dots. A comb is included but the original packing box is missing . The doll has been gently played with but in very good condition.
