The 2 petals at the ends of the smaller side of the basket have several to most of the rattan pieces disconnected or loose from the edge of the petal. The remaining petals have fairly secure rattan pieces. This is a vintage handmade in Portugal basket, so there are imperfections in the sizing and shape of the basket, which adds to the charm. Basket has 2 small handles dangling on the skinny ends of the basket.  Perfect to hang on a wall or display on a bookshelf or mantle.  Overall, basket measures 13 1/2" across from tip of petal to tip of petal on the top x 10 3/4" to 11" across. Overall height is 5 1/2" to 6" tall. Inside of basket measures 6.5" x 4.5" and 2 1/2" tall, plus 1 1/2" of scalloped petal above that. Basket sits on a pedestal, about 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 2" tall. There are several broken and loose rattan pieces. This is a vintage piece. See pictures and video for best description.
