Pools of Light modernist hand crafted artisan vintage necklace from Birmingham England.   The large undrilled quartz orb measures approximately 18mm in diameter.   Marked for sterling silver the pendant measures 1 5/8" in length, the sterling chain comprised of long twisted links measures 17" long.    The 18mm in diameter natural rock crystal orb is clear and brilliant, it rotates freely within the claw like setting.  The silver work with clean, simple lines is classic mid 20th century Modernist design.
